So it's been two weeks now since I
moved to Minamiboso in the south of Chiba prefecture. Thus far things
have been a bit hectic between getting moved in, doing various
aisatsu at work, and saying my goodbyes to friends in Asahi.
Though, the drive back and forth between the two cities is made
perfectly entertaining by the gorgeous view of the mountains in the
Boso area, the crazy traffic near Chiba city, and of course my
wonderful in-car karaoke. Even though I've been busy, it's been that
good kind of busy where you're exhausted only because you've been
doing so much fun stuff lately.
And what's the first thing you want to
do after going out and having fun? Post your photos on facebook,
right? Yeah... except my internet hasn't been installed in my
apartment yet!!! For some reason in Japan it takes a month to get
someone to come out and plug the cable into the wall and hand you the
receiver box! This happened in my last apartment as well so I
shouldn't have been surprised, but seriously?
Recent events you can look forward to
reading about when I'm able to locate an internet connection outside
of work hours:
August Horse Show!
Natsu-Comi 2012!
Tateyama Fireworks festival!
Tanabata festival!
Minamiboso city
info!
Zairyuu card!
(new residency card)
Also, next week
I'll be out of the office for the whole week because of various
events including an English language camp, a conference of students
from Belgium, and Chiba Orientation for the new ALTs, so I'm going to
have to catch up on this blog thing fairly quickly :O
